Annotated German Top 20 (2 May 2008)

I used to do this occasionally in our private Usenet years ago... (Yes, we had a private Usenet. Didn't you?)

1. Madonna - 4 Minutes
   Not the worst thing Madonna ever did, although like most of what Timbaland produces this does get pretty annoying pretty fast.


2. Duffy - Mercy
   At first I didn't have any opinion on this one at all, then Nik told me how much he hated it. I gave it another listen and since then I've really grown to like it.


3. Ich + Ich - So Soll Es Bleiben
   Horrible. This band has outstayed its welcome a long time ago.


4. Mark Ronson - Valerie
   Decent track from an album that has better ones.


5. Schnuffel - Kuschel Song
   Never heard it, I'm assuming it's terrible?


6. Yael Naim - New Soul
   Bland enough to not switch stations when it's on the radio, but that's about it.


7. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
   Fantastically cheesy, probably unintentionally bad background "music". The voice gets kind of annoying after a while, though.


8. OneRepublic - Stop And Stare
   Yawn.


9. Scooter - I'm Lonely
   Never heard it, but I know it's terrible.


10. Stefanie Heinzmann - My Man Is A Mean Man
    Annoying. I don't think I have ever listened to the whole song.


11. Moby - Disco Lies
    If this is the song he did on Conan, then... I don't remenber it at all, so it probably isn't very good.


12. Lützenkirchen - 3 Tage Wach
    Never heard it, or of it.


13. Die Ärzte - Lasse Redn
    Not bad, especially now that I've heard the Lasse redn/Funky Town mash-up.


14. Mariah Carey - Touch My Body
    No.


15. Madcon - Beggin'
    Ultra annoying.


16. Dr Stay - Don't Sweat That
    Never heard it.


17. T-Pain - Low
    This is just bad.


18. Ida Corr - Let Me Think About It
    Never heard it.


19. Der W. - Geschichtenhasser
    Never heard it, doesn't sound like something I'd want to hear.


20. A Fine Frenzy - Almost Lover
    It's okay. It's playing too much, though.
